Chain Security is a supply chain risk mitigation (SCRM) company. We assist our clients in the development and implementation of SCRM mitigation plans. The benefit of our services is that we assist our clients in establishing and maintaining a high level of trust for their business, products, and services. This is critical to the success of clients who provide products and services to government and critical infrastructure customers.

Chain Security provides services through the efforts of our two-part team. Our Engineering team is primarily located in the Silicon Valley area with part of the team located in northern Virginia. The Engineering team works closely with our client's product development and IT teams. Our National Security team is located in the Washington D.C. area and supports client compliance with national security agreements and requirements that are mandated by the United States Government.

Engineering Team

Our Engineering team is primarily based in Silicon Valley, with some members located in northern Virginia. This unique team combines extensive product development, manufacturing, distribution, and support experience with a deep understanding of NIST standards and security controls. The background of team members includes years of experience working in government agencies, telecommunication carriers, and defense contracting companies. The Chain Security engineering team provides our clients with a practical approach to meeting Government supply chain security requirements.

National Security Team

Our National Security experts, based out of the Washington D.C area, are actively involved in government processes that are used to assess technology oriented national security risks. These risks arise from both technology and product development that has elements of Foreign Ownership Influence and Control (FOCI). Other risks arise through foreign acquisitions of U.S. companies. Chain Security’s National Security team is equipped to support our client’s requirements for compliance with national security agreements and FOCI risk mitigation. Our team members’ expertise in this area is based on our experience and background in serving in the intelligence and defense community.
